I am a 56-year-old widow who runs a farm in Lensvik, about 1 hour from Trondheim.
I have two kids on 26 and 31 years that live in Trondheim, but they are often at the farm too.
The farm has some forest that provides firewood.In the summer/autumn we have free-range pigs , salmon net fishing in July, and hunting ford ear/mouse from September to December.
I practice some farm tourism and produce local food for sale and serving.
I currently live alone on the farm, so due to that I like to be a host for wwooofers. There is alot of friends visiting regulary.
There is an old timber building that requires regular timber work.
Early in spring, there is a lot of firewood work to store wood for the firewood oven in the barn. Later in spring, we harvest rhubarb and other wild plants and make various products. Throughout the summer, we have free-range pigs grazing and catch salmon in the fishing net. Both salmon and pigs are processed on the farm into the autumn.
Throughout the year, there is some necessary maintenance of buildings and restoration of old windows.
The days vary widely depending on the season.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are prepared every day at home on the farm. Accommodation is in a newly built log cabin on the farm. I enjoy dancing folk dance and make a lot of food from the farm's resources.
The farm is situated right down to the fjord, so both fishing and swimming are possible. Very nice hiking terrain around the farm.
I speak good English and moderate French.
