We have some available spots! Would love to welcome one or two Wwoofers in July 2025! 1. Describe your project, your place, and its inhabitants (including animals): Johanna and Aleksander bough and took over the farm end of 2021. We are now in the process of regenerating the land through using pigs, sheep and chickens. We started out with a small market garden in 2022 and will expanded from there. We will also fix and build different buildings on the property. Right now the barn is being fixed. We are also installing two glamping units, and in general clearing out a lot of trees! For winter: if you have any experience in using a chain saw and cutting down trees, please contact us as we have lots of fun work! 2. List the activities that WWOOFers will participate in and what you want to teach them: - Feeding animals - Managing market garden - Building infrastructure on the farm - Cutting down trees 3. What could a WWOOFer's day look like at your site (time slot for participation in activities, expectations...)? Aleksander and Johanna work normal day-jobs most days of the week. (Johanna has usually 2-3 days home). In the spring months there would be feeding the chickens, pigs and sheep, cultivating vegetables, fencing, fixing buildings etc. In the summer and fall there will be much the same work, and then vegetable work in addition. Winter: fixing barn, cutting down trees, feeding animals. 4. Play the guide! Talk about your own hobbies (music, cooking, etc.) and those possible around (hiking, swimming, etc.): Our areas is a great area for outdoor activities! Surfing, rock climbing, hiking, swimming. We are two kilomteres from the beaches, and we border with a lake. We spend a lot of time with our families, and love making good food. Right now we spend most of our "free time" working on the farm as it´s a big project to get it up and running!

We had a good time at the farm! The surroundings that we worked in are extraordinairy! Since Johanna and Aleksander are still building their house there, we lived in a very nice and big caravan. There is a big barn where we could do the cooking. This year they only have a small peace of land for vegetables because of the building phase. Johanna and Aleksander don't live at the farm yet, so we were often alone. They trust you with the tasks and the materials they have. This means you have to be very independent and pro-active. Also we think it is best to come as a couple (or friends) because of the type of work. For example the fencing in the forest is a fun but hard job, you don't want to do that alone. Next to fencing we took care of the sheep and chicken, polytunnel and the land. We also built a deck in the barn, which was a good job for rainy days. We cleared the walking paths through the forest and built bridges and a gate. We did't have direct access to a shower or washing machine. But there is a lovely lake where you can jump in. This is what we did and for us it was fine. But you can also use the shower in the house they live in now. Soon this should be arranged. If you prefer to work, live and eat all days together with the hosts, then this would not be your place. We would definitely recommend this for independent Wwoofers with some life experience.

I spend two weeks here at the beautiful farm with Johanna and Alexander. Both were super kind and always there if I needed them. Especially Johanna I personally find really impressive; she does so much but everything with such a positive mood and always smiling. The conversations with her were great and I also had a lot of fun meeting her family which I was introduced to- I loved them! Due to the season there weren’t that many things to do except from feeding sheep, chickens, walk the dogs and clean the house, but Johanna cared about me not getting bored, which was really good. And it was never too much! In the end I was so sad to leave because I really fell in love with the two dogs, the cat and just the life there. It was one of the most beautiful experiences in my life and I would recommend everybody to come here :)

I really enjoyed my stay in Bogsdalen. Johanna and Aleksander are mindful and uncomplicated. It is important to them that the woofers have a good time and you can tell! I also got to know some of the family, which I really appreciated, and they also gave me a warm welcome. I would definitely recommend the farm and I think especially in summer the location and beautiful nature is unbeatable. Not to forget the animals, which are almost impossible not to take into your heart. Thank you for everything!

We stayed with Johanna and Aleksander for two weeks, that in the end were way too short. Our tasks were varied and a lot of fun also because, although the tasks were given to us, it felt like we’re not doing it for someone else but we’re part of the farm. Apart from the day to day farm work it was great to help out at a small farmers market we went to, cuddle and play with their dogs and cat and explore the beautiful nature around the farm. This was our first time wwoofing and because we had such a great time we can only recommend for you to visit Bogsdalen Gård. Thank you for welcoming us onto your farm :)

Our stay was even better than we expected. Johanna and Alexander are very helpful and open-minded people and we even got to know their family. Everyone was very welcoming and the atmosphere was really good. We wish you all the best for your various ideas for your farm and we are very thankful that we had such a wonderful time at your place! We would totally recommend a stay at Bogsdalen Gård, no matter if you are an experienced WWOOFer or if you want to try WWOOFing for the first time.

My brother and I really enjoyed our stay here! Johanna and Aleksander (and their family we were invited to meet!) are such nice and welcoming people and we did enjoy the work we did on the farm - painting the ceiling of the barn, some cladding outside of the barn and helping to build the floor for the glamping site. Their farm is an amazing project we're keen on following for updates. Also, the surrounding nature is so beautiful with the ocean close by and ideal for a walk with the very cuddly dogs. :) Thanks again for everything and good luck for the projects on your farm!
