I want to share my little nice farm with others that want to live their life close to nature, producing their own food, making their  footprints as small as possible.  Surrounded by the most amazing nature with high mountains and the fjord, the location is perfect for hiking in the leisure time and you always have a nice view to rest your eyes on, while working. Building up the farm, there is plenty of work to do.  At the time I have 15 sheep, old Norwegian breed and two cats. I also have 5 chickens. Two icelandic horses keep house in the stable. I grow vegetables, herbs and berries. I also collect wild herbs for making teas etc.  I'm experimenting with different ways of cultivating, making different kinds of composts, using bokashi,  mulching, hugelculture; trying to make the soil as fertile and alive as possible.     Organic methods: A kind of permaculture. Certifications: DEBIO Current projects: April- mai: Lambing,  making firewood, fencing, sowing and priming indoors making seedling for the vegetable garden, pruning in the berry garden, harvesting wild herbs. May-June-July-august: Fencing, herding, making composts, preparing the soil, sowing and planting vegetables outdoor, taking the sheeps to the mountain, cutting grass, making hay. Summer is also the best time to paint  the house and the barn... July- August-September: Harvesting vegetables, herbs, hay, and berries, painting, making firewood. October; Making fences, working with the sheep, making firewood.. November: Making firewood, feeding the animals, making teas...             Internet access available

We spent 2 weeks at the farm and we had a great time. Anne Kari is a warm and welcoming person. At the beginning of our stay we talked about the tasks we could complete, so that we always knew what to do next. We did the following: cleaning (boxes, sheep and chicken barn), creating compost, harvesting onions, potatoes, carrots, peas and flowers, removing nails from wooden planks, chopping wood, and lastly, searching for sheep and trying to get them home from the nearby mountain. We were dining together with Anne Kari, and it was mostly food from the farm and forest. Any questions we had were answered, the atmosphere was very nice, and we could feel relaxed and quite flexible. In addition to our tasks we also learned about sheep, mushrooms and yarn making. We spent some evenings playing games. It was an unforgettable time and we thank you again, Anne Kari, for having us!

I spent 10 days at Lund Gård, and for a first woofing experience, I couldn’t have dreamed of anything better! The farm is set in a beautiful, peaceful, and inspiring environment. Anne Kari is an exceptional host—warm, thoughtful, and always willing to share her knowledge about plants, gardening, animals, and Norwegian culture. I felt welcomed and at ease from the very first day. It was a truly enriching experience that I’ll remember for a long time. I would happily come back! Tusen takk

We spent two weeks in July with Anne Kari. It was our first Wwofing, and the experience was excellent. We worked in an incredible place between Fjord and mountains. But for us, what will remain in our memories, more than the landscape, is the meeting with Anne, who made us feel at home. Our work during our stay was centered on harvesting hay. It still remains very varied between the garden, cooking, DIY, and animals. Rip Panda & Pele. Thank you for everything Anne and the Wwoofeurs hasher team. We hope we will meet again.

It was a nice time at Anne Kari's farm! She is a very welcoming and flexible person. There were two other wwoofers and together we took care of the sheep and the lambs, since it was lambing season. Because of the lambing, there was no set working structure for the day. We only had set times to check in the night if a lambing was going on. After a few days I addressed this issue and we found a solution to start the day at 9:00 AM together. This helped me a lot to get the work expectations clear. Then we all knew what had to be done that day. I would recommend this farm to anyone who enjoys working with animals, and being in a place where you have a lot of opportunities to try new things!

We spent a month on Anne Kari's farm between March and April 2024, it was a really great experience. We were able to take care of the animals (sheeps and chickens) and do odd jobs such as tidying up or chopping wood. Anne Karies is a very kind and welcoming person. We shared some good times over meals or card games in the house. She also showed us the arounding with some cross country skiing and fish party on the lake ! :-) We brought our instrument (Acordion and Guitar) and we played in many place around the house! Anne Kari loves music, so bring your instrument!! Thanks for all, Glen and Guirec
