Ten minutes walk along the fjord we also have some Icelandic ponies and they would welcome some happy and calm woofers short term. Woofers will live in the little white cabin you see in the picture or in a giant greenhouse (bring tent :) ). The cabin is perfect for one:) but ok for two. The nature surrounding my garden is very nice and 200 meters from a nice path along the fjords. Downtown Stavanger is 15 minutes walk from the cabin. Check out "Gladmat", "Prekestolen", "Kjerag" etc. For me its ok if you want to work half time and then get your own food. There is a kitchen in the cabin and shops nearby.

Its 15 minutes walk from the center of Stavanger. If you like hiking we have Prekestolen and Kjerag here (daytrips) and lots of nature.

Workaholic, I needed to slow down, go away and find a positive energy in order to focus on meaningful things.
Tone Lise nicely accepted my late request by being welcoming and honest. Even though the cabin was rustic I felt cosy and it is suitable for 10 days. Lots of fun and visits came out from this stay as I got the perfect balance flexible working time and leisure time. It is important to highlight that Tone Lise was eager to share her knowledge and passion.
Back to reality was like Back to salt mines but…
From now on, I am applying the 2 important advice in my life to stay sane and safe: Yoga (tried for the first time the application Down Dog) and savings for the rainy days.
Tone Lise, thanks for this human experience beyond WWOOF volunteering. You gave me so much perspective, I wish you all the best and more. I am also sending a warm thought to the community around this project.
My only recommendation: stay more than 10 days if you don’t want to feel frustrated!
