SORRY WE ARE ALREADY FULL IN JULY 2026! The farm first of all produce arctic organic strawberries. We also grow raspberries, potatoes, carrots and other vegetables. (No animals.) We are open from late April to mid November. The fertilizing is to a large extent by the use of composted seaweeds since the farm is located near the Arctic Ocean. The work will consist of collecting seaweed and planting, covering, recovering, weeding and harvesting the berries and the vegetables. Languages spoken: (Norwegian, danish, swedish.) English, German and French. Languages well understood (but not so well spoken): Dutch, Icelandic and Italian. The farm has - when it is not raining :) - the midnight sun from late May until late July and northern lights (Aurora Borealis) from September to April. The continuous summer light and the slow growing, because of low temperature, makes the berries and carrots especially sweet. The harvest season begins approximately 20th July and does end when the frost appears in September/October. If you are applying, and the farm is not fully booked, we will send you more detailed information. When you have read it and agreed, we can make a deal. PLEASE REMARK: It is for different reasons practically impossible for us to cater also a vegetarian/vegan diet. Vegetarians/vegans should apply for another farm. - No smoking at the farm. The farm is also providing internships for universities. The volunteers are normally at the age of 20 + Organic methods: A variety of methods all approved by the norwegian official certifyer of organic farms. Certifications: Debio Current projects: Planting, fertilizing, caring for and  harvesting  strawberries, potatoes and carrots. Also a smaller amount of other berries and sallads. A list of tasks and projects for every month is available from the farm. Internet access available.

I stayed with Roger for a month from mid-October to mid-November and it was a great experience! Roger is super nice and a great cook, so we ate well all the time! The work is manageable and flexible, allowing you to make the most of your free time. The location is absolutely beautiful, with lots of great hiking trails for those who enjoy it! In conclusion, I highly recommend it!

This farm is the perfect place to learn how an organic farm works, especially if you love berries! There’s a wide range of tasks to try, so every day brings something new to learn. The location is stunning, surrounded by wild landscapes with amazing hiking trails, opportunities to sail or fish, and quiet roads to explore by bike. It’s also a great place to meet other WWOOFers, and enjoy good company. Roger is simply a wonderful and very wise man, from whom you can learn a lot and have fun at the same time. Overall, this farm has everything for a truly unforgettable WWOOF experience. I hope I get the chance to come back soon! Please enjoy!!

Had an awesome time at Nordvoll. Thanks to Roger, which is also a great cook, I was able to feel at home from the very first night. The work sometimes can be hard, but is always rewarding. I will definitely considering coming back on the next years.

What to say about our stay, we were in this farm like at home with our family. Thanks to Roger, we learned a lot about life in general and the environment, strawberry growing, field preparation and market gardening. Especially his stories of norwegian trolls. Lucas We had huge laughs, especially in the evening at the famous dinner. We were able to meet extraordinary people from everywhere and we have wonderful memories in mind. If you like fishing and hiking just come. The landscape are beautiful, especially where the farm is located. We were at the farm in july to august
