Right in the middle of norway, 400km north of trondheim, between Mosjøen and Sandnessjøen (40km each way). follow E6 north to mosjøen, turn left towards sandnessjøen. after 40km turn right at the sign otting, follow dirtroad for 1,5km and you are there. r

Me and my friend Tim had a wonderful stay with Peter at Remmen gard. Peter was very nice to us and welcomed us. He learned us a lot about farming and shared with us his life story. We played some games together with another woofer when it was raining which was very nice. On the farm we did some weedpicking, chasing sheep, cleaning sheep shed and haymaking. We stayed in a very nice cabin. The farm is in a beautiful place in the fjord. His wife is also a very good cook:) we felt very at home and were sad we had to leave the place, we would rather have stayed longer. ( we stayed 1 week)

I had a really nice time with Peter. Even though the weather wasn't the best he taught me the norwegen way of haymaking, which was lots of fun, even though also lots of work. There is a really nice line of mountains behind the farm from where the view was really stunning. Ecxept for that however there wasn't all to much to do around without a car. Still I learned a lot during my stay and very much enjoyed it.
